È la materia che struttura l’opera, vecchi libri o stampe antiche, ritagli di giornale, foto, cartoline, pubblicità e riviste varie si uniscono a carte colorate e immagini prese dal web.
La sovrapposizione diventa fusione di passato e presente creando un’atmosfera onirica e fantastica. Le tecniche usate sono il risultato della fusione di materiali grezzi, comuni e di oggetti spesso in disuso che uniti a tecniche moderne danno vita ad una realtà fatta di sensazioni, creando la “profondità” dell’immagine. Nei quadri o nei bozzetti si trovano quasi sempre materiali riciclati che spesso sono la base e lo spunto per creare qualcosa di nuovo.

A selection of works most of which exposed in art prizes.
The materials are incorporated in the works: old books and antique prints, newspaper clippings, photos, postcards, advertisements and magazines are combined with colored paper and images from the web. The overlay becomes a fusion of past and present, creating a dreamlike atmosphere. The techniques used are the result of the fusion of raw materials and common but abandoned objects, combined with modern technology: the combination of these elements creates a whole range of feelings while developing depth in the image.
The paintings and sketches almost always contain recycled materials, often the basis and inspiration to create something new.
